Vehicle Preparation & MOT
Every retail vehicle comes with a new 12‑month MOT, free of charge and with no advisories, or an existing long MOT already in place. All vehicles are fully HPI checked for clear, unencumbered ownership. Trade Sale vehicles are sold strictly as seen,
Delivery
We offer UK‑wide delivery and can also collect your part exchange. Delivery proceeds only after you have viewed the vehicle in person and confirmed you are fully satisfied with its condition. A deposit secures your vehicle; any delivery charge will be quoted and agreed before payment.
In‑House Corner Cars Warranty
Warranty cover is stated in each vehicle’s description or confirmed before purchase. Trade vehicles carry no warranty – sold as seen.
Our in‑house warranty covers mechanical & electrical component failure only. It excludes wear‑and‑tear items (tyres, batteries, brakes, clutch components), plus damage from accident, neglect, or misuse. All claims must be pre‑authorised by us, and all repairs must be carried out by a VAT‑registered repairer. We reserve the right to approve repairers and costs before work begins.
Terms & Conditions of Sale
1. Basis of Sale
All vehicles are sold as used, subject to these terms and your statutory rights under UK law. Trade sales are strictly as seen, with no warranty implied.
2. Inspection
You are welcome to inspect, test drive, or arrange an independent pre‑purchase check. Completing purchase confirms your satisfaction with the vehicle’s condition, mileage, and specification.
3. Payment
A deposit secures the vehicle; full payment is due before collection or delivery. Deposits are non‑refundable if you cancel without cause. If we cannot supply the vehicle as agreed, your deposit is refunded in full.
4. MOT
The free no‑advisory 12‑month MOT applies to retail sales only – not trade vehicles.
5. Warranty Claims
All warranty work must be pre‑authorised by Corner Cars and carried out by a VAT‑registered repairer. We reserve the right to approve costs and repairers before work starts.
6. Right to Reject (Consumer Rights Act 2015)
• Within 30 days: You may reject a vehicle for a qualifying fault with no usage charge.
• After 30 days: We may deduct a usage charge of up to 45p per mile from any refund, calculated on mileage driven.
• Your statutory rights remain unaffected by these terms.
7. General
These terms do not limit your legal rights and are governed by the law of England and Wales.
